This morning, the CPHCL Group team came together in support of Pink October, united by a shared commitment to raising awareness of breast cancer and supporting those affected. The initiative brought the values of care and collaboration to the heart of the workplace, with a common aim of making a positive difference.
This year, that support is going to the Action for Breast Cancer Foundation, a Malta-based voluntary organisation that campaigns for breast awareness and quality-assured services for the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer in Malta and Gozo. The Foundation supports people through patient information and guidance, psychological support services and assistance following a mastectomy.
Team members were encouraged to wear pink and the Company’s CSR Committee pledged to match any donations made to this worthy cause. It was a meaningful way of putting the Company’s embodied core value of care into action.
Palace Landscaping, a CPHCL Group subsidiary, added a delightful touch with individually prepared Kalanchoe plants with long-lasting pink flowers for each team member’s desk.
Long after the day has passed, these pink blooms will remain a reminder of the family spirit that connects the Group—and of what care and collaboration mean in practice: coming together so that those affected by breast cancer know they are not alone.
